How Do Cacti Grow in Nature?
Most cacti are found in arid and desert areas where climatic conditions are very harsh, but there are also species that grow in rainforests and wet areas. Cacti have adapted to life in harsh conditions by developing thick skin and fleshy stems that help them store water and survive periods of drought.
The IMSOIL substrate for cacti is highly permeable thanks to the use of different fractions of perlite, expanded clay and quartz sand, i.e. a mineral fraction to which cacti have adapted in nature
