PERLIT - Natural, safe substrate for incubation and soil additive for plants

Perlite is a natural material of volcanic origin. Thanks to its high porosity, it perfectly stores water. Ideally suited as an additive to soil for plants and for incubating eggs. When it is moistened, it maintains an appropriate level of moisture in the incubator, which prevents the eggs from drying out. The substrate is sterile and will not rot or mold.

Perlite is an aggregate:

Properties of perlite:

•     high ability to absorb water and minerals contained in it,
•     it is chemically inert substrate,
•     improves water-air relations,
•     creates very good conditions for the development of the root system
•     moistened ensures the maintenance of an appropriate level of moisture in the terrarium,
•     sterile medium,
•     non-flammable and resistant to high temperatures,

Application of perlite:

•     as a substrate for the incubation of eggs,
•     as an independent substrate in hydroponic cultivation,
•     as a component for the creation of substrates and horticultural substrates (e.g. in combination with peat, soil, bark, coconut fiber, expanded clay, vermiculite and others)
•     as a loosening additive to the garden soil
•     for vegetative reproduction of plants in the perlite itself
•     as an additive improving soil properties on lawns, stadiums and golf courses - it improves air-water relations, prevents excessive compaction and trampling.
