How does Alocasia grow in nature?
Alocasias grow in humid rainforests where temperature and humidity are maintained at a constant level throughout the year. The soil there is rich in nutrients and well-drained, allowing for the free flow of water and air. Additionally, in such an environment, these plants grow on leaf litter made up of fallen leaves and other organic materials, which provide them with additional nutrients.
In-home conditions, Alocasia requires soil with similar properties in order to grow healthy and strong. A good choice is a mixture consisting of coconut fiber, peat, clay pellets, perlite, and bark. This mixture should provide adequate permeability while also containing enough nutrients to meet the needs of Alocasia.
It is also important that the soil is consistently moist but not waterlogged, as this can lead to root diseases and plant rot.

How to Achieve Greater Plant Growth?
To achieve greater plant growth, we recommend watering the plant with liquid biohumus or sprinkling worm castings in loose form a week after planting. Additionally, you can enhance growth by watering the plant every two weeks with an NPK 20-20-20 or similar fertilizer.
