These modern UV metal halide lamps have been thoroughly tested by experts in a long series of experiments.
The products are characterized by ideal UVB radiation and very good daylight emission (6000k) with efficient thermal radiation. This combination is perfect for reptiles and easy on owners.
UVB radiation is suitable for reptiles at a distance of more than 40 cm in the terrarium. The latest technology guarantees an even UVB spectrum and a long service life.
This UV lamp is also suitable for larger reptiles due to the wider design and therefore wider radiation.
Dimensions of UVB Lamp 35W
The 70W UVB Flood Lamp has a larger reflector and thus a wider beam angle than a regular 70W UVB Spot lamp.
UVB radiation is also about 30 percent higher than that of a spot lamp. Thanks to this, larger animals (adult water dragons, iguanas) find a place under the lamp and the whole body is irradiated. The UVB lamp can be mounted 10 cm higher, if space in the terrarium allows it.
This 70-watt flood lamp is ideal for sun-loving reptiles from desert regions (bearded dragons, Uromastyx, Ferguson zone 4).
