The ideal solution to provide soft full-spectrum lighting + UV-B for arboreal and climbing species living in enclosures where planting / decoration is pushed directly against the mesh and in those that do not use intensive planting.

The Shade Dweller Arboreal is suitable for arboreal reptiles such as

•     crested gecko
•     gargoyles and many related species
•     many amphibians
•     invertebrates
•     young snakes

The ShadeDweller Arboreal ™ T5 is the ideal choice for arboreal twilight species, ideal for shade-dwelling species such as crested geckos, and species that fall into Ferguson zones 1-2, depending on basking distance, climbing ability, and need less UV energy surface.

For those species living in larger terrariums and where vegetation / decoration does not allow open basking very close to the lamp, a 7% ShadeDweller lamp would be a better choice. Likewise when mesh is used (note that black mesh reduces the light flow slightly more than stainless steel). It is always best to check actual energy with the Solarmeter 6.5 index meter).
