What Features Does LumenIZE by Arcadia Reptile Have?

You can control the Terrarium Lighting from your smartphone via Bluetooth communication

You can control up to 50 different lamps in one application. Thanks to this, you will finally have one place from which you can monitor and control your entire farm.

Setting dimming time and seasonality. You decide how long the lamp should be turned off and brightened, so as to simulate the day and year cycle according to your needs.

Power should be selected according to the requirements of a given animal and plants and the distance from the plants. Placing the lamp too close may cause the plants to burn from too much light.

How to Attach the Arcadia Lamp

The lamp can be mounted in several ways:

•      You can hang the terrarium on the ceiling using the mounting brackets included in the set
•      Place it on the Mesh in the Terrarium if the ceiling is made of mesh

Using a specially designed set of high output LEDs, we have created an LED strip that can emit a huge amount of light with a very high PAR value. The Jungle Dawn strip emits a full spectrum of light that mimics visible natural sunlight (6,200 Kelvin), along a "photosynthetic curve" but without the use of PAR with separate red and blue LEDs. Thanks to this, the Jungle Dawn Pro LED strip has a high PAR, a high PUR percentage, a high CRI and no unnatural "purple tint".

TRIPLE PACKED LEDS

Arcadia Reptile Jungle Dawn LED Strips utilize a "triple track" LED configuration with a high degree of built-in internal protection. They present a very wide and even stream of energy-rich lighting, eliminating the typical problem associated with LED lamps, the so-called "point source". This LED system will both increase visible light levels for terrestrial animal species and provide the energy plants need to grow. Jungle Dawn LED fixtures produce a huge amount of light, significantly reducing the need for large numbers of fluorescent lamps for plant growth.
Benefits for plants

Plants need access to the right amount of energy provided by light of the right spectrum to be able to replace cells that are damaged or die naturally every day. If we underestimate the plant's energy, we reduce its ability to photosynthesize and create new cells, which in turn limits its growth. Typically, plants deprived of energy will have unnaturally discolored leaves and will tend to "stack out" as they grow rapidly upwards to be closer to the light source. Healthy plants have good color, strong root networks and grow at a moderate pace, increasing in size evenly.


PAR, i.e. photosynthetic active radiation, is a measurement used to quantify and describe the amount of energy produced by a light source. PAR levels are increased by two elements in lighting, and these are:

1. 1. Amount of light (lumen/lux),
2. 2. Spectrum accuracy.

As a result, if a lamp produces light in a spectral range close to natural sunlight and has a high intensity (luminous flux), it will have a high PAR level. The higher the PAR, the more energy transmitted by the lamp can support photosynthesis.
