Reptile Systems Calcium Ultra is a high quality calcium magnesium supplement suitable for reptiles, amphibians and other animals that require extra calcium in their diet. An essential building block of strong shells and bones, it also ensures proper muscle function. The very fine powder adheres easily to food, which increases the effectiveness of supplementation and increases their nutritional value. Calcium Ultra does not contain phosphorus.

Reptiles cannot effectively absorb calcium from their food without the hormone-active vitamin D3. By providing an appropriate UV lighting system, UVB radiation is provided that is absorbed through the skin, which helps the animals convert inactive vitamin D into active vitamin D3. Feeding instructions: Food for herbivores should be sprinkled with powdered calcium. Food insects are placed in a box into which calcium powder has been poured, gently shake the box so that the powder sticks to the insects. Then we immediately give them to feed. The animal must always have access to clean water. After opening, store in a cool, dry place.
