Temperature Controller with the option of connecting to a smartphone

You can connect this Thermostat to your smartphone via Wi-Fi. Using a special application, you will be able to control the thermostat even when you are not at home. Additionally, you will find the temperature history there and you can control several controllers at once.

3 channels included in the Evo Connected 3 controller

Channel 1 and 2: Dimming Mode - Dimmer or Pulse Mode

This channel controls the main heating source in the terrarium. Timer settings allow you to easily control the heat source in day/night mode, by lowering the temperature or turning off the heating completely.

The Dimming Mode involves smoothly decreasing and increasing the voltage at the device output. Thanks to this, the temperature does not fluctuate and remains at a similar level all the time.

Pulse Mode is a thermostat operating mode based on sending mini on/off packets. This means a series of power starts, followed by a short break, and then another cycle occurs after a short while. And so on until the device detects the set temperature.

This mode is intended for heating devices that do not emit light, such as heating mats or ceramic emitters

Channel 3: channel on/off

This channel is perfect for controlling the UV lamp or other visible lighting in your terrarium by simply turning it on in the morning and off at night.

It can alternatively be used as a basic on/off thermostat if your setup requires it, for example running a low wattage heating mat or ceramic as background or night heating.

History of Temperature

As with the previous generation Evo, there is a temperature history graph available on the screen, accessible from the touchscreen. The device will show you the temperature history in the terrarium on a graph. This will give you insight into the situation while you were away.

A lot of control Each channel has the option of basic control up to advanced functions. Name each channel so that it is easy to identify. Channels and outputs are also color-coded for quick identification.

Select the type of control required for the channel between Dimming or Pulse mode. Each channel can be set to control heating, cooling or constant temperature. Various synchronization modes can be selected to provide basic control throughout the year

Ramp time

You can now select a ramp time that will make temperature changes more natural for your pet. Once the new setpoint is reached, the ramp time influences the duration of the temperature change. This is an ideal solution when there is a transition from night to day.

You can now enter a time so that your vivarium or terrarium does not heat up rapidly from a low temperature at night to a high temperature during the day.

The transition can now occur within an hour or two hours, leading to a much more natural temperature change when combined with the multi setting, allowing for a completely natural temperature cycle throughout the entire 24-hour period.

Various Time Settings

Control your environment exactly the way you want, from a simple, fixed setting to different settings for each season. The choice is yours.

     Constant - One temperature or setting 24 hours a day
     Day Night - Different temperature or setting for day and night hours
     8 different temperatures or settings within 24 hours
     seasons - Possibility to set different day and night time settings for each season
     Periods - The output can be activated at specific times for set times. Perfect for sprinklers and foggers. Only available on the on/off channel.

Alarms

Smart thermostats require smart alarms. Each channel has an individual overheating, overtemperature and sensor failure alarm. Alarms can be customized on each channel from the app or touch screen.

When the alarm goes off, you will be alerted by a push notification on your mobile phone, a warning buzzer from the touch screen and also the temperature color on the touch screen will change color.

Red for over temperature and blue for under temperature. In the event of an alarm, the channel power will be cut off until it is confirmed that the situation has returned to normal operating conditions.

Over-the-air updates

Once you add your thermostat to your connected account, you'll be able to receive updates over the air to ensure you always have the latest software on your device.
